These terms govern your use of MoreBasket. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.
The service
MoreBasket provides hosted software for building and operating an online store. We may add, change, or remove features over time. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Your account
- You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials safe.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- Accounts are for authorised store staff only.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use MoreBasket to:
- Sell illegal goods or services, or infringe others’ rights.
- Send spam, run phishing or deceptive pages, or distribute malware.
- Attempt to breach security, probe, or disrupt the service.
- Misrepresent your identity or your affiliation with any party.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that create legal or security risk.
Merchant responsibilities
As a merchant you are the seller of record for your store. You are responsible for your products, pricing, tax, fulfilment, customer service, and for complying with the laws that apply to your business and your customers, including consumer-protection and data-protection law. You are the controller of your customers’ personal data; MoreBasket processes it on your behalf.
Payments
Subscription fees, if any, are described at sign-up or in your account. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Payment processing for storefront orders is handled by the payment provider you connect, on their terms.
Intellectual property
MoreBasket and its software remain our property. Your store content remains yours; you grant us the licence needed to host and display it.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, MoreBasket disclaims all implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access for violation of these terms, non-payment, or to comply with law. On termination we will make your data available for a reasonable period before deletion.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction, unless local mandatory law provides otherwise.
